Here's Your First Look at the Supernatural Spin-Off Wayward Sisters

Posted by Arni Bergsson on

Sheriff Jodi Mills & Co. will potentially carry on in their own series, Wayward Sisters, and we have a sneak peek at what's in store.

Show the sisters in action alongside Sam and Dean as they take on the evil creatures lurking about in the backdoor pilot of the Supernatural spin-off. The episode is slated to air Thursday, Jan. 18 at 8/7c on the CW.

The spin-off centers on a group of troubled women — led by Jimmy Novak's daughter, Claire (Kathryn Love Newton) — who were orphaned by supernatural forces. With help from Rhodes and Sheriff Donna Hanscum (Briana Buckmaster), they'll train to become one serious demon-fighting crew bound together by the sisterhood. Unlike its parent series, which finds the Winchester brothers on the road, Wayward Sisters will be set in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

In addition to Rhodes, Newton, and Buckmaster, the project also stars Katherine Ramdeen as Alex Jones, Mills' first adopted daughter; Clark Backo as in Patience Turner, the teenage granddaughter of Missouri Moseley; and Yadira Guevara-Prip as Kaia Nieves, a newcomer who can travel between worlds in her dreams.

  • I am so excited for the wayward sisters to become a series!! I love Supernatural too, but I love all the characters that have been on the show as far as the women. I think it’s time for a spin-off! I know I can’t wait!!!

  • Even though I am not a fan of spin offs and no other show can take the place of Supernatural and the Winchester boys, I will give it a spin. Not going to lie, I love the story lines but love the boys as much. One thing I think could have saved Wayward sisters is bringing back Charley. We miss Charley. She was charming, cute and very lovable. Like the girl next door but bad ass, I would be more incline to watch it if she was on it. Please, please guys do not end Supernatural at season 13. I have been watching since it started. I look forward to it each and every week. The reruns too. I have all the seasons on DVD. Fan through and through.
